This fall a new sports car wearing the prancing horse will debut, and though it originates in Maranello, its name comes from America. The new Ferrari California will be available exclusively as a hardtop convertible, and feature a front-mounted 4.3-liter V8 engine churning out 460 horsepower. The V8 will send power to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, and this combo is expected to push the newest Ferrari to 60 mph in less than 4 seconds. Carbon-ceramic Brembo brakes provide the stopping power. More details are expected after the official debut at this fall’s Paris Motor Show.
