Chevrolet Cobalt







The Cobalt is Chevrolet’s compact sedan and coupe that debuted for 2005, replacing the Cavalier in the Chevrolet lineup for 2006. The Cobalt is designed to compete with the leaders in the compact segment with a high level of standard equipment and a driving experience with a high level of refinement, quality, and performance.

The 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt boasts an improvement in fuel economy to 37 mpg highway when equipped with the 5-speed manual transmission with the addition of the more efficient and more powerful 2.2-liter Ecotec engine with variable valve timing. The Cobalt SS sedan is added and the Cobalt SS coupe receives a reconfigurable performance display. New 16-inch machined-face aluminum wheels are offered and three new colors are added: Silver Ice, Gold Mist and Silver Moss.
