The Range Rover is Land Rover’s flagship SUV with legendary Land Rover off-road capability. The Range Rover was first imported to the U.S. in 1987 and redesigned for the 1995 model year. Land Rover was purchased by BMW AG in 1994 and sold to Ford Motor Company in 2000. The all-new Range Rover debuted in the fall of 2002 and is one of the most capable and luxurious vehicles in the world.
After significant interior updates for 2007, the 2008 Land Rover Range Rover adds a few additional details including ribbed-metal door sill plates, a storage slot for the entertainment system remote in the rear-seat armrest and the leather dash top cover is now standard.
